RE Dance Studio

Ramon Ramos and Elena Edquest-Ramos strive to share their love of Latin dance, Hip Hop dance, and Breakdance within Helena and surrounding areas. Both have choreographed competition dances for regional and national levels for ages six through adult, taught and performed locally for the past 17 years, and have been training extensively for the last several years specializing in Reggaeton, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, and Cumbia styles of dance. In addition to their dance experience, they are both full-time working professionals within the Helena community and spend their free time dancing. Their latest jobs include assisting with the Hot Latin Nights dance scene in Helena established by Last Dance Gulch. Overall, Elena has 17 years of teaching Hip Hop, Break Dance Basics, Jazz, and Latin style dancing while Ramon has 22 years of teaching Hip Hop Dance, Break Dance, Production Routines, and Latin style dancing.

Community Projects

Queen City Ballet's Nutcracker:  Ramon danced within Queen City's Ballet Company for years and dedicated his time to dance within several roles within this beautiful production annually. 

Cohesion's Nutcracker on the Rocks:  Ramon danced in this fantastic production for one year and he absolutely loved the different take on the Nutcracker story.

Hot Latin Nights (Feb 2018 - Feb 2020):  Elena and Ramon dedicated their time to teaching rotating classes with some other wonderful Latin dance instructors to bring some small aspects of Latin culture to Helena!  They deeply miss these events and hope to see them come alive again in the future. 

Gold Rush Days (May 2023):  Elena and Ramon dedicated their time to help bring the Gold Rush days back to Helena!  2023 was the first year the event took place and we hope to continue to help grow this event in the upcoming years.  Elena and Ramon were in charge of choreographing and managing the event's Can Can Dancers!  You will be sure to see us participating next year!  Contact us if you are interested in participating in 2024!

Pre-Schools, Elementary & High Schools:  Elena & Ramon dedicate their time to visiting schools and teach all types of basic dance lessons.  This is one of their favorite ways to give back to the community!
